Dan Osborn is gearing up for a 2026 U.S. Senate race to bring real working-class leadership to Washington—and we’re building a team that’s ready to fight alongside him. We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead our fundraising efforts in a highly competitive, people-powered campaign.
Position: Finance Director Location: Omaha, NE Salary: $6,000–$12,000/month, based on experience About the Role: As Finance Director, you will develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure our campaign has the resources to take on billionaire-backed politicians. The ideal candidate will have experience raising money for a federal campaign, be highly organized, and bring a creative, strategic approach to grassroots and major donor fundraising.

Responsibilities:
- Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement a detailed fundraising plan.
- Set and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly fundraising goals.
- Coordinate with campaign leadership to align finance strategy with budget needs.
- Fundraising Execution
- Organize and staff candidate call time, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Draft fundraising materials, including event invitations, direct mail, and online appeals.
- Plan and execute fundraising events, recruit hosts, and manage finance committees.
- Expand the donor base through strategic research and outreach.
- Management & Operations
- Hire, train, and oversee finance team staff, volunteers, and consultants.
- Manage fundraising events calendar and coordinate candidate’s finance schedule.
- Track, analyze, and report fundraising performance metrics.
- Foster a high-energy, innovative fundraising culture.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee daily donation processing, deposits, and data entry.
- Ensure all campaign fundraising activities comply with FEC regulations.
- Review and approve FEC reports prior to submission.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience raising money for a federal campaign.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both internal and external.
- Proficiency in NGP, ActBlue, Excel, and other campaign finance software.
- Willingness to work a campaign schedule, including some travel and irregular hours.
