JOB DESCRIPTION

Blue Raven Campaigns is seeking a Campaign Management Consultant with experience launching and running political campaigns from the ground up. This person will work closely with candidates, staff, and stakeholders to set campaign goals, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure campaigns stay on track.

You'll be expected to wear multiple hats — building plans, hiring and managing staff, troubleshooting problems, and keeping everything moving forward.

Ideal candidates will have at least two cycles of experience with increasing responsibility, familiarity with Chicagoland politics, and a passion for electing Democrats at every level.

Key Responsibilities

Build and execute comprehensive campaign plans (field, communications, digital, fundraising, and compliance)

Set and track goals across departments to ensure strategic objectives are met

Recruit, train, and manage campaign staff, volunteers, and vendors

Advise candidates on message, schedule, and fundraising strategy

Regularly report progress to clients and senior staff

Troubleshoot operational issues and adjust plans as needed

Qualifications

Minimum two full campaign cycles with progressively responsible roles

Management or senior staff experience on a federal, statewide, or local campaign is preferred

Strong understanding of campaign operations, field programs, and communications strategy

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Familiarity with Chicago and suburban Cook County politics is strongly preferred

Reliable access to a car is required
