Team Jason Esteves is seeking a Social Media Manager to become a key member of the campaign team. The Social Media Manager will help lead our social media platforms, draft copy across platforms, and assist with capturing content on the road as needed. The Social Media Manager will help to develop the candidate’s voice and brand across platforms, including X, Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, and other channels as needed. The ideal candidate keeps up with the latest social media trends and knows how to innovate and optimize content across different platforms.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute on the campaign’s social media strategy
- Lead on drafting and scheduling social media copy across platforms
- Collaborate with peers across departments to execute messaging strategies and create content during rapid response moments
- Develop the candidate’s presence on new and existing social media platforms, cultivating and growing a follower base
- Assist with internal digital operations and processes, including our approvals process
- Work with other departments to meet graphic design needs
- Track analytics and data
- And all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- One to two years of experience managing social media platforms for a candidate, organization, or brand
- Proficiency in graphic design software or programs such as Canva and/or Adobe Suite
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Docs and Sheets
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Access to a car and ability to easily travel
Logistics
- Salary: $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience
- Location: Based in Atlanta, GA. This position can start remotely.
- Hours: This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
