The Operations Coordinator will support the ongoing operations at Every State Blue, and will work closely with our Executive Director and other Every State Blue leadership. We are looking for someone who enjoys organizing systems and data, and is able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will spend a lot of time with spreadsheets, correspondence, calendars, and other detail-oriented tasks, but will also have the opportunity to take ownership of key work streams and contribute to complex projects.
Responsibilities include (by way of example):
Virtual Event Management

Assist in scheduling virtual meetings for our state projects in Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee

Plan and execute administrative and logistical aspects of virtual meetings, including drafting member invitations, tracking attendee data, and updating relevant databases
Team Support

Provide operational and systematic support to the Executive Director and other team members as needed

Handle incoming and outgoing email, phone calls, member inquiries and requests

Manage member renewal process and communications

Support project management for ESB-wide initiatives and surge moments

Assist in identifying opportunities for collaboration with allied organizations and individuals
Communication and Outreach
- Help promote the organization’s mission by researching and drafting impact reports, memos, email marketing materials, and social media content
Volunteer Management
- Develop and implement a volunteer management strategy

Desired qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will be passionate about our mission and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The right candidate will be organized, responsible, self-sufficient, and self-motivated – a proactive self-starter and creative problem solver that is able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. As a small organization, we pride ourselves in being flexible and pitching in to help one another when necessary, and would expect any new member of our team to have the same attitude.
Experience in the following areas is a plus:

Experience managing your own schedule and the schedule of others

Experience running for office, or managing/working on/running a political campaign (particularly a state legislative campaign)

Experience managing volunteers

Facility with (or willingness to learn) google docs/forms/sheets, Canva, social media applications, Wordpress, email service providers (Mailchimp, Sendgrid, ActionNetwork, etc), and zoom.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Full-time, remote, exempt position
