About the Race
At an estimated 766,000 registered voters enrolled in colleges and universities across the state, Gen-Z students have the power to determine the outcomes of these elections--but only if we get organized now.
And while young Americans do believe they have the power to change the country, just 2 in 5 say they feel well-qualified to participate in politics. Most young Americans do not believe they have been adequately prepared to understand the impact of their vote, or even how to cast it. That uncertainty depresses turnout: in 2022, just under 1 in 4 young voters cast a ballot. Young people are not apathetic–we are failing to adequately prepare and engage them.
Building on work started during the 2023 State Supreme Court Election and in the 2024 Presidential election, we’re building a scrappy and innovative team that will organize and inspire thousands of college students to vote in the upcoming November elections, including the PA Supreme Court Election.
