Amy Roma’s campaign is hiring a Finance Director to help lead her effort to win the Democratic primary for the upcoming special election in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District. The chosen candidate will work with the candidate and the campaign team to implement a robust fundraising plan.

The position is full-time and based in the Washington, DC area. This position is through the special election primary which will likely be held in the next two months (June or July 2025). Date soon to be set. Flexibility and availability for a fast-paced, intensive campaign schedule are essential.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Ability to work effectively and tactfully with the public
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail in financial record-keeping and projections

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 cycles of campaign finance experience preferred
• Experience with NGP & Actblue preferred
• Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites, especially Excel & Google Sheets

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary starting at $5,000 a month (Salary based on experience)
