He was born and raised on a farm in the North Country and he’s been deeply rooted in this community his whole life – as a JV basketball coach, Lisbon Central School Board Member, and founder of a non-profit supporting kids with pediatric cancer and their families.

Job Description Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive, well-funded House race for the 2026 cycle. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with one or more cycles of finance experience to take the next step in their career and join a race that has already raised $3m.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Work with the consultant team and principal to develop and execute an aggressive fundraising plan
  • Oversee and execute a call time program, including staffing, donor research, and follow up
  • Plan, schedule, and manage small-and large-scale fundraising events ranging from small social gatherings to large events with 100+ attendees
  • Oversee building on existing donor databases by identifying, researching, and recruiting new donors
  • Oversee accurate and timely donor follow up and acknowledgement
  • Track all donor meetings, conversations, pledges, and conversions
  • Oversee finance staff and help create an organizational culture of fundraising and ensure that fundraising goals are met or exceeded
  • Staff and drive the principal
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive
  • Relentless kindness and an ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
  • A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation
  • Nice to have: Personal familiarity with NY-21
