Position: Deputy Digital Director - Content/Creative Salary: Starting at $6,500/month Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota Level: Deputy

Angie Craig’s campaign for U.S. Senate is seeking an experienced Deputy Digital Director for Content/Creative for the 2026 election cycle. The Deputy Digital Director will work with the Digital Director to execute a social media strategy that maintains the campaign’s message and expands our reach across existing and new social media platforms to engage voters.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who stays current with online trends and has an understanding of how social media fits into the overall digital strategy of a campaign or organization. You must also have a deep understanding of the different types of content that are suited to each social media platform and be able to adapt to the quickly changing digital landscape. Ideal candidates will also be interested in managing the day-to-day operations of our team as it grows.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the digital content team, including platform management, influencer content, and content creation;
- Manage social media platforms and coordinate content distribution, including copy, graphics, and video for social media efforts;
- Leading digital partner engagement efforts, including creating toolkits for partner organizations, validators, elected officials, and other stakeholders to support campaign efforts;
- Develop and oversee goal-oriented content calendars and approval processes across multiple social media platforms and accounts, including for rapid response moments;
- Help develop a plan and the execution of campaign graphics, video, and other digital tactical programs fitting with campaign branding goals;
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Successful candidates will have:
- 2-3 years of prior experience supporting digital programs for an organization, candidate, or brand (social media experience a plus, but not required);
- Prior working experience writing, editing, and proofing digital content that drives action and maintains a consistent voice;
- Prior working experience with photography and audio/video editing is a plus;
- Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
- Dedication to being a team player and trying new things;
- Campaign experience not required, but strongly preferred
