Finance Director for Nevada Attorney General Campaign
Democratic campaign for Nevada Attorney General seeks Finance Director for the 2026 cycle. The Finance Director will have responsibility for drafting and implementing a national and in-state fundraising plan, setting and meeting performance milestones, monitoring campaign cash flow, and supervising finance staff.
This position will require an individual to be a self-starter and multi-tasker capable of working independently in a fast-paced political environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in all facets of campaign finance operations, including call time management, small and high dollar events, donor research, online fundraising, budget management and campaign compliance. Additionally, this person will be an aggressive innovator of new ideas, approaches, and opportunities to raise the necessary funds.
Specifically, the Finance Director will:
- Write and implement a professional fundraising plan that includes raising for a candidate committee and leadership PAC
- Monitor the progress of the fundraising plan on a daily basis and work with campaign leadership to align with overall campaign budget and cashflow
- Set overall fundraising goals and weekly, monthly and quarterly targets for each fundraising method and ensure these goals are met
- Identify the staff, resources, tools and equipment necessary to meet all established fundraising goals
- Direct a fundraising team that will grow to include consultants, staff, interns, and volunteers in the planning and execution of all fundraising tactics
- Coordinate and enforce candidate’s fundraising schedule
- Regularly organizing and staffing candidate for call time, particularly in early campaign phases
- Coordinate with compliance team to monitor fundraising recordkeeping and solicit required contribution information
- Conduct accurate and timely donor follow up and acknowledgment
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 cycles of campaign fundraising, experience on a statewide or federal race preferred
- A minimum of 1 cycle of managing staff, volunteers, or interns
- Track record of fundraising planning, implementation, and raising at least $1 million for a campaign
- Ability to identify and cultivate new and existing relationships with donors, prospective donors, and key stakeholders
- Strong computer skills, including NGP and ActBlue
- Must have a valid driver's license as this position will require in-state and national travel

- Must be versed in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
- Experience with NGP VAN, ActBlue and other applicable fundraising software
- A proven track record for being a self-starter
- Superior project management skills. Know how to plan a project or program, track progress, and adjust resources as needed.
- Ability to hire, train and develop finance staff, interns, and volunteers
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary: $7,000-$9,000 per month, commensurate with experience
