Reporting to the Senior Organizer, the Field Organizer will play a critical role on the programmatic team in developing and executing strategies that advance STAC’s mission to build a network of key local allies across 50 states that have a strategic advantage over groups working to undermine our democracy. ● Create responsive tools and resources for partners

● Engage regularly on STAC’s Digital Strategy Hub

● Travel throughout the year as necessary to organize on the ground or to represent the organization at meetings and events

Qualifications:

The Organizer is strategic, creative, detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks. Specific qualifications include:

● At least 5+ years as a community organizer, campaign manager, strategist, or similar role

● Experience with both online and offline campaigning, organizing, and grassroots mobilization

● Skilled in designing effective advocacy and campaign strategies to influence outcomes

● Strong writing skills

● A high level of commitment to STAC’s mission

● Ability to think creatively about strategy and communications

● Understanding of authoritarian movements and white nationalism

● Ability to synthesize complicated information and communicate accessibly

● Initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.

● Ability to work under tight deadlines.
