Overview

Wes Moore for Maryland is seeking a ** Partnerships Assistant** to assist with the candidate’s creator program and produce vertical video for TikTok/Reels/YouTube Shorts.

We are looking for an organized and internet savvy digital strategist, who can both help organize creator-centered engagements and concept high-performing short video content. The ideal candidate has broad knowledge of influencers and a deep interest in creating internet-relevant Maryland-focused political content . This strategist will spend equal time collaborating with and inviting creators to events, and creating their own content in TikTok/Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts.

Governor Moore will be seeking re-election in 2026, and his campaign committee, Wes Moore for Maryland, is hiring for this position.

Roles and Responsibilities

Partnerships Management:

● Maintain the campaign’s rolodex of influencers and media publishers to collaborate with

● Assist with collaboration between the campaign and these creators and publishers

● Support creator-first event planning and execution; from compiling lists to sending invites to managing event production

● Represent the campaign at events, prioritizing building lasting relationships with creators, organizations, and leaders in the space

Video Creation:

● Create high-performing vertical video content for the campaign’s social media channels on a weekly basis

● Route all vertical video content through the necessary approvals

● Pitch stakeholders on trends and news to jump in on these social channels

● Travel to film these engagements as needed

● Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree

● 1+ year of experience working in marketing, ideally with creators

● Knowledge of social platforms and an awareness of successful creators

● Experience creating high-performing social content, especially for TikTok and Instagram

● Experience working in fast-paced environments

● Strong organizational skills

This position will be salaried commensurate with experience $60-72,000. This position will be based in Maryland. A reliable form of transportation and a valid driver’s license is required.
