JOB DESCRIPTION

Employment type: Full or part-time (minimum of 20hrs/a week)

Duration: Fall 2025 Location: Royal Oak, MI ideally, Michigan preferably, remote possible

Summary of Position: We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic fellows to support various aspects of the McMorrow for Michigan US Senate Campaign. This paid fellowship offers hands-on experience in political organizing, fundraising, digital outreach, communications, event planning, and campaign operations—ideal for college students or recent grads looking to gain experience working on a fast-paced, statewide campaign. As a fellow you will be assigned to one of the following teams: fundraising, political, digital, and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Please note depending on the team you are assigned to, your main responsibilities may slightly vary.

● Conduct research on key stakeholders and policy issues

● Prepare memos and other briefing materials for event and meetings

● Assist in the planning and execution of events, including venue scouting and selection, set up and clean up, volunteer recruitment and management

● Staff the Senator at events

● Data entry and maintenance, logistics support, administrative tasks

● Conduct external outreach with stakeholders

● Support digital content creation and social media efforts

Other duties as needed Qualifications:

● Availability on evenings and weekends to attend events and meetings within 20 weekly hours

● Access to and ability to drive a vehicle

● Strong writing and editing skills as well as attention to detail

● Strong communication skills

● Strong proficiency in internet research

● High level of proficiency with the Google-Suite. Ideally experience with other campaign related softwares include NGP VAN & Mobilize but not required.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting environment

● Willingness to learn, share, and collaborate across departments

● Team-oriented, proactive, and dependable

** Compensation**:

Stipend: $1200/month

Mileage reimbursement
