JOB DESCRIPTION

Rise Political Strategies is seeking a Finance Associate to support its day to day fundraising operations. This is a full time, salaried position through 12/31/2025 and may be extended beyond.

Rise is a boutique, woman-owned national political fundraising firm working with Democratic and progressive causes and candidates .

Previous fundraising or political experience (including internships) is preferred but not required. This is an entry level position.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with fundraising call time and follow up

• Identifying and researching potential new donors

• Staffing call time & events

• Compiling briefings and event materials

• Provide key administrative and organizational support for the team

• Help with planning and execution of events, as needed

• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with an interest in democratic fundraising

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as being able to work independently

• Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment

• Experience working in NGP and proficiency in excel and Google Sheets is preferred

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must have a cell phone & laptop

• Due to the nature of campaign work, some nights and weekend work is required. However, Rise is committed to a healthy working environment and work-life balance and will work with you to create a schedule that is sustainable.

• Prior campaign finance experience is a plus, but not required - this position is a great opportunity for former field organizers with a desire to learn other aspects of a campaign

The salary for this position is $4,000 per month plus a flexible paid time off policy. Applicant must be based in PA (ideally Philadelphia or Pittsburgh) or willing to relocate.
