We are a top-tier Democratic campaign for U.S. Senate, committed to fighting for an economy that works for everyone, healthcare for all, affordable housing, quality education, clean air and water, and sensible foreign policy. Our campaign is the only candidate in this race who has never and will never take a dime from corporations and would-be oligarchs. We’re building a seasoned and passionate team rooted in progressive values to take on one of the most competitive and consequential Senate races in the country.
Digital Director Position Summary:
The ** Digital Director** will be responsible for leading and executing the campaign’s digital strategy with a strong focus on** producing compelling, persuasive, and shareable video content**. This role is ideal for a creative strategist with a strong political sense, video production chops, and a drive to build online momentum that converts into offline action.
You’ll manage the campaign’s online presence across platforms, oversee digital advertising, and collaborate with other departments to ensure our digital program reflects and amplifies the broader campaign message.
Key Responsibilities:
Video & Content Production (Primary Focus – ~60%)

Lead creation of high-quality, rapid-response video content (e.g., social cutdowns, reels, ads, testimonials, behind-the-scenes).

Script, shoot, and edit videos that align with the campaign’s message and tone.

Manage a content calendar focused on maximizing engagement across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). This includes developing and maintaining a strong approval process for all content.

Track the performance of video content and iterate based on analytics.
Digital Strategy & Management

Own and implement the campaign’s digital fundraising strategy, from email to social to paid media, ensuring consistent messaging, brand integrity, and pushing an aggressive acquisition process driven by positive returns-on-investment.

Manage and grow the campaign’s social media presence across platforms.

Lead paid digital advertising efforts in coordination with consultants, instituting best practices, and ensuring targeting and content align with campaign goals.

Work closely with the campaign manager, communications, and organizing teams to align on digital priorities.
Team Leadership & Coordination

Hire and manage additional digital staff, interns, or vendors as needed.

Coordinate with consultants (polling, media, email, digital ads) to integrate learnings and align creative direction.

Ensure that digital content is ADA-compliant and inclusive.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in political digital strategy, video content creation, or related field.

Proven experience producing short-form political video content from concept to execution.

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut).

Familiarity with email CRMs (e.g., ActionKit, NGPVAN, Blue State Digital).

Strong writing skills and an understanding of political messaging, rapid response, and digital organizing.

Experience managing social media platforms and running digital ad campaigns.

Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced campaign environment. Campaign hour

Bonus Qualifications:
