Three Point Media, a boutique, full-service strategic advertising company, is looking for an Associate to work on political and issue advocacy campaigns.

About the Role
The Associate will work closely with the firm's partners and staff to support the production of TV/digital/radio advertising, as well as the management of ad campaigns. This is an ideal position for someone who loves politics, wants to make a positive impact in upcoming races, and is interested in learning more about the production world. The Associate will be given an immediate opportunity to contribute substantively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Major Responsibilities include:
● Supporting video production logistics - from formatting scripts to getting spots to stations on time
● Researching and organizing elements used in video and radio advertising, including video, photos, music, and quotes from news sources
● Working directly with production and post-production vendors - including producers, editors, talent, and sound engineers - to guide ads from start to finish of the production life cycle
● Archiving of footage and final Digital, TV, and Radio ads
● Proofing memos, scripts, presentations, and deliverables before they are shared with clients and other consultants
● Other tasks and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified applicants will have relevant educational and/or work experience with either:
● At least one year of working in video post-production.
OR
● At least one election cycle in political issue campaigns, or a consulting firm.
● A combination of political and production experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
● Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
● Must be comfortable with long, irregular hours during peak seasons
● Ability to work efficiently and autonomously, and be responsive
● Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, and a track record of work performed with the highest standards of quality
● Experience managing projects, tracking progress, and delegating work across multiple team members, from initial planning to execution.
● Superior organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines, particularly in a remote work setting
● Adept knowledge of the ins and outs of politics, from industry jargon to key players
● High proficiency in standard office technologies and software, such as Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and G-Suite
● Basic understanding of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, is a plus
● Understanding of conversational Spanish is a plus
Compensation
Combined annualized base salary + discretionary bonus range from $60,000 - $80,000, dependent on experience, including competitive benefits, including employer subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurances, tech stipend, and 401k matching.
