As a Menefee for Congress intern, you will play a key role in campaign operations while learning from some of Houston's most skilled Democratic staff and a series of accomplished guest speakers.

During the internship, you will spend 10 hours per week working for the campaign. The bulk of these hours will be in-person in Houston, Texas. Interns will knock on doors (in your own neighborhood and at canvassing events), train volunteers, attend campaign events, and complete ad-hoc projects as needed.

Interns will also participate in the Christian Cup, a 9-week simulated campaign (inspired by the Arena Cup!) in which intern teams create a hypothetical CD-18 candidate and complete weekly projects exploring every department of a campaign.

This internship cohort will run from September 2 through election day on November 4, with opportunities to extend through a runoff election if one occurs. All interns will either receive course credit or be paid a $500 stipend upon completion of the program.

The only qualifications you need to apply are a commitment to progressive values, including kindness and respect in the workplace, and willingness to work hard to get Christian Menefee elected! Current college students, high school juniors and seniors, and recent graduates are all encouraged to apply.
