JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

The Strathdee Group - a premier woman-owned Democratic political fundraising and strategy consulting firm - is hiring a Junior Associate. The candidate will work with multiple Strathdee Group clients for the duration of the cycle alongside the Senior Vice President.

The Junior Associate will work closely with the firm's Founder and Senior Vice President to provide operational support for each client's DC and national fundraising. The right candidate is process-oriented and has great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a great work ethic to join our team.

Duties:

  • Support the Senior Vice President on high-profile caucus and Member clients, including (but not limited to) event planning and RSVP tracking, data entry, memo writing, and other tasks as needed

  • Assist with strategy and fundraising management for clients

  • Donor research and direct donor engagement

  • Create donor-facing materials

  • Organizing and staffing in-person fundraising events, call time, and meetings

  • Writing memos for clients

  • Other office tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1 cycle of campaign experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

  • Experience with NGP preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Detail and process-oriented with a positive, team player mentality

Location: Washington, DC

Hours: This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and will require evening and potentially, weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
