A competitive congressional campaign based in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Finance Director to lead a dynamic fundraising operation. The Finance Director will work closely with the candidate and campaign team to execute an ambitious finance plan aimed at winning a high-stakes primary and flipping a red-to-blue district to help Democrats take back the U.S. House of Representatives. The position is full-time and based in the Richmond, VA area.

Requirements ● Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives ● Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to practice discretion ● Strong political judgment and problem-solving abilities ● Familiarity with Democratic political actors and landscape is a plus ● Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels

Qualifications: ● At least 2-3 cycles of campaign finance experience ● Experience managing candidate call time and planning high-dollar fundraising events ● Knowledge of NGP and ActBlue, Google Sheets, and other call time programs or software ● Strong interpersonal skills, very well organized, and extremely detail-oriented ● Professional demeanor and willingness to adapt to a changing environment ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a campaign’s irregular hours, including some nights and weekends ● A valid driver’s license and vehicle

Salary: The salary for this position is commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and gas stipends.
