DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER

EXECUTIVE BUREAU

COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION

Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks a creative, highly motivated individual to serve as a Digital Content Manager in the Communications Division. The Digital Content Manager collaborates closely with the Director of Digital Communications, the Digital Communications Manager, the Communications Director, Deputy Press Secretaries, other Executive Staff, and AG Campbell herself, to deliver information from the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) to the public.

Primary Duties: The Digital Content Manager is expected to be knowledgeable about current affairs and be able to draw connections between the work of the AGO and events across Massachusetts and the country. Candidates should be social media-savvy and excited about exploring creative and fun ways to communicate with the public. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Monitor and manage AGO social media accounts.

· Assist with creation of creative collateral, such as long- and short-form video, static and motion graphics, and printed materials.

· Assist in the development of the Office’s social media strategy.

· Lead the social listening work and social media analytics tracking for the Digital team.

· Draft social media posts.

· Take photos at public events, edits photos, and manage the photo catalog.

· Assists with digital constituent services.

· Support internal communications efforts and maintain the AGO website.

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.

· At least two (2) years of experience in communications, graphic design, social media management, or video production, with a digital content portfolio to showcase their work.

· Experience managing social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

· Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Premiere, required.

· Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects, preferred.

· Familiarity with CapCut, preferred.

· Effective written communication skills, particularly in the social media format.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

· Effective organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.

· Ability to learn new software, troubleshoot errors, and manage production equipment, computer hardware, and other devices.

· Interest in social justice, journalism, public service, law, or government.

· Ability to work some nights and weekends.

· A valid Massachusetts driver's license is preferred, as travel may be required.

Position Type: Full-Time/Exempt

Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. On in-office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.

Salary: $55,000 to $65,000
