The Role

Fundraising Fellows are early-career professionals who gain hands-on experience supporting political fundraising efforts across a variety of client campaigns. Fellows work under the guidance of Senior Fundraising Associates and Directors, supporting donor research, data entry, call time, and event preparation.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about progressive politics, campaigns, or organizing who is looking to gain a foothold in the movement and build practical skills in fundraising and campaign operations. Prior campaign experience is not required — we’ll train you.

What You’ll Do

Client & Campaign Support

• Staff candidate call time by tracking outreach, logging follow-up needs, and providing support materials

• Conduct donor prospecting and research to support effective fundraising strategies

• Maintain and update databases, call sheets, and tracking tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Prepare materials for donor meetings and fundraising events

• Support donor follow-up via email, calls, and tracking systems

Internal & Team Engagement

• Participate in regular check-ins with Senior Associates and Directors

• Support intern and volunteer management as needed, including recruitment, onboarding, and training

• Contribute to a collaborative, equity-centered team culture

Who You Are

Core Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in civic engagement, activism, or progressive politics

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Clear written and verbal communicator

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote team environment

• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal oversight

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience with tools like Google Drive, Excel, NGP, EveryAction, or ActBlue

• Prior experience on a campaign, in a volunteer or paid role

• Familiarity with CRMs or other fundraising software
