JOB DESCRIPTION

Deb for New Mexico is seeking a hardworking, passionate, highly-organized fundraiser capable of showing leadership and strong management skills in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Finance Director and is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with the Finance Director to develop and execute the finance plan

  • Directly manage assistant-level and intern-level finance staff

  • Develop and execute strategic donor research and prospecting for call time, meetings, and events

  • Collaborate with the Finance Director in setting the campaign’s fundraising calendar

  • Staff the candidate for meetings, events, and call time as needed

  • Plan, build and execute fundraising events for the campaign – facilitating outreach, communicating with hosts, staffing, and preparing briefings and other materials

  • Track and execute required follow up from call time, meetings, events, emails, and more

Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete other fundraising tasks as assigned by the Finance Director

  • Assist the candidate and larger team in staffing and other needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two cycles of fundraising experience

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to timely needs, including from the principal

  • Proficiency in G-Suite, NGP, ActBlue, and familiarity call time software (e.g. Numero)

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends as required

  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary & Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $6,000-$7,500/month commensurate with experience, and includes 100% paid healthcare benefits. Paid time off will be available per campaign policy.
