JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Race: Democrats are at a crossroads. Too many Democratic leaders are sitting on their hands instead of fighting back against attacks on working families and on our fundamental freedoms.** Don Ufford is a Ford Engineer, business leader, and a dad who has lived the Michigan Dream.** Don went to college with a Pell Grant and student loans, worked his way up at Ford, served in the federal government fighting to bring home manufacturing jobs, and raised a family here in Michigan. He’s running to expand the Demoratic Base, fight back against Trump, and that show Democrats can deliver for working people.
The Opportunity: We’re hiring a** Finance Director** to lead a national and in-district fundraising program that powers Don’s path through a competitive 3-way primary and a critical-hold general election. The Finance Director will be a senior campaign leader with a chance to build a finance program from the ground up. -

-
Plan and staff finance events locally and nationally, ensuring events have strong host committees and that the candidate is prepared for events
-
Hire, train, and manage a Call Time Manager and Finance Interns
-
Serve as a key decision-making partner to the Campaign Manager on budgeting and strategy
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
-
Has 1–2+ cycles of campaign finance experience
-
Thrives in call time and events, and can coach a candidate to do the same
-
Brings strong written and face-to-face communication skills and is able to juggle multiple priorities
-
Is fluent with ActBlue, Numero, donor research, and compliance tools
Compensation & Logistics:
-
Salary: $7,000–$8,500/month with a healthcare stipend and 2 weeks of PTO per year.
