OVERVIEW
The Special Projects Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day administrative needs and special projects across multiple CGC teams. Will support and collaborate with internal and external teams. Critical for success is an interest in the mission of CGC, strong sense of personal initiative, respect for the sensitivity and confidentiality of information, and the ability to balance multiple tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Support overall day-to-day functions of the CGC leadership team, including but not limited to: scheduling, drafting reports, memos and document tracking

Serve as a liaison between internal and external teams.

Assist with special projects as instructed by the CGC leadership team.

Work independently and ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to adapt to shifting priorities on a day-to-day basis.
QUALIFICIATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree or minimum 1-2 years of work experience.

Previous project management experience is a plus.

Experience interfacing and communicating with senior members of a team.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.

Meticulous attention to detail and clear communication style.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, thoroughness and timeliness.

Enjoys a fast paced working environment and understands the sense of urgency.

Willing to work extended hours, late evenings and weekends, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Special Projects Associate reports to the Executive Director and Senior Advisor.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $60,000-70,000/year. CGC offers a benefits package that includes employee medical and dental insurance.
