Rep. Gabe Vasquez’s campaign in NM-02 is seeking a junior finance staff member to manage call time and handle other finance department tasks. The Call Time Manager or Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Director. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Albuquerque, NM.
The salary range for this position is $4,500 - $5,500/mo, commensurate with experience. This is a cycle position, expected to end in November 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding.
Responsibilities

Manage and staff the call time program with the support of the Finance Director.

Prospect and research potential in-district, in-state, and national donors.

Support the events program, including staffing in-district and some national events, providing logistical support to hosts, and managing host and donor follow-up.

Manage donor follow-up, including pledge chase and thank yous.

Various other tasks related to the finance program, including writing copy for pitches, staffing Rep. Vasquez, working with partner organizations and consultants, and managing interns and volunteers.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

0–2 years of professional campaign experience.

Strong writing & interpersonal skills and detail-orientation.

Willingness to accept expanded responsibilities over the course of the cycle.

Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle.

Preferred: New Mexico experience or background.

_Preferred: _Spanish proficiency or fluency.

Preferred: Some campaign experience, including as a volunteer or intern.

_Preferred: _Some experience with common campaign programs, such as NGP VAN, Votebuilder, or call time software.
