Organizing Directors will be key leaders in a large-scale voter registration and Vote by Mail (VBM) enrollment program. Individuals are responsible for the day-to-day management of all field operations, ensuring legal compliance, managing staff and volunteers, and driving the program toward its strategic goals. Ideal candidates are experienced field operatives with strong management skills and a deep understanding of grassroots organizing. Positions are located in Central Florida (Orlando metro area) and South Florida (West Palm Beach metro area).
Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Oversee all day-to-day operations of the voter registration and VBM enrollment program, ensuring activities are on track to meet ambitious goals.

Staff Leadership: Hire, train, and manage a team of Regional Field Directors and Field Organizers, providing clear direction, support, and accountability.

Volunteer Coordination: Develop and execute a robust volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement plan in coordination with community partners and allied campaigns.

Legal Compliance: Serve as the primary manager for ensuring strict compliance with all Florida state laws regarding voter registration, form collection, and submission.

Quality Control & Data: Implement and manage systems for quality control, data collection, and tracking for all field activities. Ensure all data is entered accurately and matched to the voter file for analysis.

On-the-Ground Organizing: Initially conduct voter registration in the field to learn best practices and effectively train and manage the team.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key community leaders, partner organizations, and campaign stakeholders.

Reporting: Provide weekly field reports and regular progress updates on shifts, registrations, VBM enrollments, and other key metrics to leadership.
Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in field organizing, preferably on large-scale voter registration or political campaigns.

Proven ability to hire, train, and manage a diverse team of paid staff and volunteers.

Familiarity with Florida's election laws and 3rd Party Voter Registration Organization (3PVRO) requirements is

strongly preferred.

Excellent organizational, data management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency with voter databases (like NGP VAN) and data tracking systems is a plus.

Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position with an annual salary of $60,000 and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
