What You’ll Do

We’re seeking a full-time ** Digital Director** to manage Patrick’s social channels, create original content, and chase new digital opportunities to reach California voters. You should have a deep knowledge of the digital landscape and either understand the California insurance space or be eager to learn it fast.

The ** Digital Director** will work closely with the core campaign team, media consultants, and Patrick to build a disciplined, on-brand, metrics-driven online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the candidate and team to plan and produce original digital content.

  • Own the digital program end-to-end — from strategy to execution.

  • Maintain a monthly content calendar and develop ideas to grow visibility on Facebook, Instagram, X, and other social channels.

  • Track and report weekly on key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, video completion).

  • Identify new visibility opportunities — YouTube channels, podcasts, and emerging platforms.

  • Build relationships with creators and influencers (especially those with insurance/consumer reach) to book interviews and appearances.

  • Collaborate with the paid media team to extend reach on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and programmatic.

  • Update the campaign website as needed (photos, videos, press releases).

Requirements

  • Strong video skills: filming, editing, and packaging short-form content.

  • Proven experience managing social for a brand, candidate, or organization.

  • Willingness to travel with the candidate across California.

  • Familiarity with social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.

  • Experience running digital ad campaigns is a plus, not required.
