Description: Haley Stevens for Michigan is seeking a Video Producer to join our growing digital department working to elect Congresswoman Stevens to the Senate in 2026. This role will have a specific focus on developing video concepts, producing, and editing footage to reinforce key campaign messaging priorities. Ideal candidates for this role will bring a strong creative perspective with a demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories.

The ** Video Producer’s** duties will include:

• Identify and conceptualize ideas for video content that reinforces the campaign’s core messaging

• Script, produce, and edit video content, including long format videos for Youtube and Facebook, short format videos for TikTok, X, and Instagram Reels, as well as rapid response video.

• Help produce video and graphic assets for other departments as needed.

• Traveling and staffing events as needed

• Regularly analyze social media metrics, reporting on what’s working and making strategic recommendations on where to improve.

• Other duties within and outside of the digital department

Qualified candidates will have:

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and other leading video editing software.

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Access to a dedicated computer for editing

• Experience working on a digital program for a political campaign, organization, or non-profit a plus

• Detail oriented and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours (nights and weekends).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience developing content for emerging platforms such as TikTok and Reels.

Compensation:

• Salary: $6,500 monthly

• Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance available at no premium.

• Leave: Paid time off will be available per campaign policy.

• Hours: This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
