Blake Gendebien is a husband, father of three boys, second-generation dairy farmer, and small business owner. He was born and raised on a farm in the North Country and he’s been deeply rooted in this community his whole life – as a JV basketball coach, Lisbon Central School Board Member, and founder of a non-profit supporting kids with pediatric cancer and their families.

Job Description
Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive House race with a high seven-figure, low eight-figure, budget. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election. This is a top-tier race to manage for someone with experience working on and winning tough political races.
Roles and responsibilities include:

Work closely with general consultant and consultant team to execute the overall campaign strategy, calendar, and budget – including daily cash flow.

Managing the candidate and consultant team.

Oversee finance team to raise towards a high seven-figure, low eight-figure budget.

Oversee comms team to pitch and place high impact stories.
-
Manage national and in district political relationships.
-
Manage existing campaign staff, and hire full field team.

Plan and execute a successful ballot access plan.
Qualifications include:
-
Three or more cycles of campaign experience, including one as a campaign manager on a competitive race, senior staff on a top tier race (i.e. finance director, organizing director, etc), or equivalent experience.

Experience & comfort supervising staff, interns, and volunteers.

Relentless positivity, a consistent “yes and” approach, and an appreciation for “thank yous”.

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Relentless kindness and an ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.

A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation.

Nice to have: Personal familiarity with NY-21
