JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
** There are over 80 colleges and universities in Michigan, with nearly half a million students. Founded in 2024, For Michigan organizes students across the state to turn out in critical statewide elections. In 2024, our organizing broke campus turnout records, with more votes cast in campus precincts than in 2020, 2016, or 2012. In 2025, we scaled our program across 10 core campuses, and in 2026 we are going even bigger: investing in full-time organizers, paid student fellows, and student-driven digital content to mobilize voters for the midterms.**
Regional Organizing Directors (RODs) are the engine that makes this work possible. RODs will lead teams of campus organizers across multiple schools, ensuring strong management, coaching, and accountability while building the student power needed to win.
