Summary:

Ripple Effect Strategies is a Democratic fundraising firm dedicated to crafting compelling, results-driven messaging that helps our clients raise the money they need to win!

As a Texting Strategist, you are comfortable working with multiple clients to efficiently draft copy and test new concepts that help push our work forward. You’ll be working closely with our entire digital team to help bring new perspectives and make an impact on Democratic campaigns, sometimes under tight deadlines and with varying strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear and compelling text message copy that fits each client’s voice and goals.

• Create, run, and review A/B tests on SMS and MMS text messages.

• Monitor results of daily sends to determine the effectiveness of messaging.

• Work collaboratively with the digital team to respond to client questions and ensure they are given any critical updates.

• Producing, loading, and sending text messages for clients.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in text or digital fundraising, including working with A/B testing

• Experience with texting platforms such as Switchboard and digital campaign tools.

• Patience, understanding, and adaptability.

• Ability to change your writing style to appeal to different audiences.

• Experience managing tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to social justice and democratic values

Compensation:

• The salary for this position is set at $60,000 per year. Full-time staff receive the following benefits:

• 90% employer-paid premiums for employee healthcare, 50% for dependents
