JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT US:
For campaigns, non-profits, charities, and other organizations, reaching the right people is harder than ever. Non-profit donor files are shrinking. Campaigns don’t have time to waste dollars. Agencies and brands are tired of vendors who vanish after dropping a list.
The old ways aren’t working, and too many organizations are paying more for less.
We built Leverage to change that.
Leverage is a social-good data company that works to help campaigns, non-profits, charities, and other organizations find their people. We turn behavioral, demographic, and donor data into strategies that reach the right people, and only the right people. Our AI-powered models predict who’s most likely to engage and convert, delivering less waste, higher ROI, and a clear edge in competitive markets.
THE ROLE:
-
**Title: **Group Account Director
-
**Reports To: **Chief Client Officer
-
**Location: **Remote in the United States, occasional travel required
-
**Position Type: **Full Time
-
Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 OTE which includes base salary and bonus if employee and company hit assigned goals
Leverage is hiring an ambitious, energetic Group Account Director who will take on frontline account management for some of client and agency accounts. Our customers include some of the buzziest political campaigns, blue chip non-profits, charities, and other organizations who want to find new supporters to fuel their missions.
In this role, you will be responsible for both strategy and operational execution with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
You need to be comfortable switching between strategy and execution seamlessly on a dime. Some days, you may transition from brainstorming new product lines based on customer feedback to helping a non-profit plan an annual donor acquisition strategy, to immediately switching hats to helping a campaign get a rapid response campaign out the door — ensuring needed certifications, pulling audiences, performing production, and conducting quality assurance checks.
If this work sounds energizing to you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every single qualification.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-
Manage client communications with both long-standing customers and inbound requests.
-
Provide clients with sound, strategic guidance around the utilization of Leverage’s products to acquire supporters.
-
Manage end-to-end process for SMS rental campaigns, including: Strategy, managing mobile verifications, contracting, platform setup, audience targeting, creative deployment, QA, and reporting.
-
Manage end-to-end process for email list modeling campaigns, including: Strategy, contracting, audience targeting, QA, delivery, and reporting.
-
Manage campaigns for new and emerging offerings like direct mail, email opt-in, lead generation, and more.
-
Seamlessly prioritize inbound campaign requests — including rapid response requests — maintaining top-tier customer service while also working within the constraints of capacity and sending calendar.
-
Consistently communicate customer feedback cross-company, using insights to evolve practices and offerings.
-
Collaborate across executive, operations, and data teams in activities to strengthen Leverage.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
3-7+ years of client management experience in the fundraising space — ideally with political, non-profit, or charity accounts.
-
Must have proficiency with the basics of digital fundraising. Hands-on experience managing digital fundraising programs for campaigns, non-profits, or charities is a major plus. Experience with offline mass market fundraising is also a plus.
-
Experience with mass marketing SMS tools including Switchboard, Scale to Win, Tatango, or others.
-
Experience with at least some additional fundraising tools like donation processors (ActBlue, FundraiseUp, Anedot, Classy) and CRMs (EveryAction, Salesforce, Engaging Networks, Blackbaud).
-
Enthusiastic interest for both high-level strategic work and getting into the weeds of planning and launching campaigns and/or deliverables for clients.
-
Willingness to be a part of a growing startup where duties and responsibilities shift based on company priorities and customer needs. No two days are alike!
-
Must be a self-starter who is comfortable building the plane while flying it. You are capable of navigating and resolving complicated client and business challenges without a set playbook (you might even help write the playbook!)
-
This is not a pure sales position, but you should be comfortable selling on inbound inquiries and renewing existing accounts with additional services to augment their success.
-
Ability to provide coverage on nights and weekends during peak periods or as a part of a rotational on-call work schedule.

Founded in 2024, Leverage is a fully remote startup. Our culture is dynamic and energetic — and this role will come in on the ground floor of a company that’s building out a suite of solutions that will help organizations change the world for the better. We take this seriously, but also think the work is a lot of fun! As a growing startup, we are often all hands on deck when it comes to problem solving and enhancing our product line. That means a lot will be expected of this role, but you will also be supported.
We care about the well-being of our employees and enforce a two-week minimum of vacation per year as well as providing fitness reimbursements. We offer a flexible work schedule, which provides balance to what will not always be a 40-hour work week.
