JOB DESCRIPTION

Description

Friends of Sherrod Brown is seeking a ** Senior Multimedia Producer** to join our growing digital team working to elect Sherrod Brown to the U.S. Senate in 2026. This campaign is based in Columbus, Ohio, but will require extensive travel across the state with the Senator. This is a union-represented position.

The ideal candidate is an experienced storyteller with a strong record of producing high-quality, engaging digital content. They will lead in their strongest area of expertise among video, photo, and or graphics and will play a central role in shaping the look and feel of the campaign’s digital presence. The Senior Multimedia Producer will help set creative standards, manage production workflows, and collaborate with the digital team to tell powerful stories about Sherrod Brown’s fight for the Dignity of Work.

The Senior Multimedia Producer duties include:

  • Leading the development of visual content for digital platforms

  • Traveling across Ohio to capture and produce high-quality content of Sen. Brown, supporters, and surrogates

  • Directing and capturing content during events, including photos, video, and live content as well as studio style content

  • Producing compelling graphics and videos for the campaign’s digital platforms

  • Driving creative brainstorming and contributing new ideas and concepts to the team

  • Collaborating with other departments to anticipate and meet design, photo, and video needs

  • Helping guide and mentor junior multimedia producer and interns on best practices and creative execution

  • Working with the digital team to build and execute innovative digital storytelling strategies

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or comparable design/video software

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, photography, and/or graphics (campaign, nonprofit, or agency experience a plus)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • An understanding of how to create content optimized for various digital platforms and audiences

  • Strong political and social media instincts, with the ability to adapt quickly to rapid response moments

  • A collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and sense of humor

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to brand consistency

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $6,000 - $7,000 monthly
