The Organizing Director will be responsible for overseeing all organizing and direct voter outreach programming. The Organizing Director will need to develop strategic goals and work campaign hours to ensure a successful re-election campaign. The Organizing Director will work in close coordination with, and report directly to, the Campaign Manager. This position will require evening and weekend hours, particularly in the summer and fall of 2026. Compensation for this position will start at $6,000 per month and include health insurance. The anticipated start date is in January of 2026 and employment will last through November of 2026.
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Develop and execute a field plan with clear goals, projections, and a path to victory
● Hire, train, and manage a team of field organizers, interns, and volunteers
● Develop metrics and systems to track volunteer recruitment, management, direct voter contact, and other campaign priorities
● Update and maintain volunteer databases
● Support and grow a base of volunteer leaders in organizing community outreach, educational events, and voter turnout efforts
● Serve as a point of contact for volunteers and campaign supporters
● Plan, coordinate, and staff organizing/field events
● Communicate with volunteers about upcoming events
● Develop and manage the delivery of voter contact materials
● Keep field staff responsible for direct voter contact goals
● Build a positive team culture and keep staff motivated to achieve direct voter contact goals
● Other duties as assigned by the campaign manager or candidate
Desired Qualifications:
● 2 cycles of campaign experience with at least one cycle of staff management experience
● Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
● A strong passion to elect Democrats and regain the House majority
● Exceptional communication skills, tact, and diplomacy
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
● Self-starter with great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
● Positive and growth-oriented mindset; eager to give and receive professional feedback
● Experience using Google Suite and VAN
● Willingness to work long and unpredictable hours, including evenings and weekends
● Must be located in Las Vegas or be willing to relocate to the area
● Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a car required
