JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

Killin for Colorado is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and talented organizing director for the 2026 election for Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District. The organizing director will be responsible for managing an organizing team and executing an ambitious field program to elect Jessica Killin to Congress.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, manage, and train a team of field organizers to recruit, train, and manage volunteers.

  • Hold organizers accountable to quantitative goals and programmatic standards

  • Build a strong, positive, and goal-oriented team culture.

  • Execute a ballot access plan

  • Plan and execute large-scale voter contact, events including but not limited to: canvassing, phonebanking, and text banking events.

  • Tracking and organizing the team’s daily and weekly activities to enable real-time adjustments to ensure quantitative and qualitative goals are met and exceeded.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1+ cycles of field experience on an electoral campaign with demonstrated experience successfully managing volunteers and/or staff

  • Experience and familiarity with VAN

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace

  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to personally complete direct voter contact activities, including canvassing, petitioning, and recruitment calls

  • Willingness to work long non-traditional hours to attend evening and weekend events and meet deadlines.
