Summary
The office of Assemblyman Andrew Macurdy is seeking a Constituent Services and Outreach Coordinator to manage constituent cases and advocate within the district on behalf of the office.
Job Responsibilities

Track and respond to correspondence from constituents, including phone calls, email, postal mail, and other comments submitted online;

Act as a liaison to state and local agencies on behalf of the office and constituents in order to resolve constituent requests;

Address concerns and questions from constituents quickly, professionally and effectively;

Develop relationships and work in collaboration with community contacts to promote the Assemblyman’s in-district agenda;

Manage the Assemblyman’s intern program;

Accept and implement constructive, work-related feedback;

Adapt quickly and work well in a team environment;
-
Work a flexible schedule, including extended evening and weekend hours as needed;

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred;
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
-
Ability to build meaningful relationships with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment;

Regular access to a vehicle is preferred;

Living in or nearby LD21 are preferred.
Commitment & Compensation
Position is full-time: 40 hours/week, with off-hour and weekend duties as needed. Benefits are included. Yearly salary is between $45,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
