New Hampshire House Democratic Caucus: Finance Director
The New Hampshire House Democratic Victory Campaign Committee (DVCC) is hiring an experienced, full-time Finance Director to run an aggressive fundraising operation to help regain a Democratic majority in the 400-member New Hampshire House of Representatives. The Finance Director will work closely with senior staff, the legislative leadership team, and individual members to draft and execute a 2-year fundraising plan.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the Caucus Director in continuing to develop an aggressive but realistic budget and finance plan for the election cycle.

Develop and manage a multi-faceted, short-and long-term finance plan with programs aimed at multiple categories of supporters (including PACs, high–and low-dollar individuals, other institutional givers, and online contributors) with programs targeted at specific constituencies of donors.

Plan, schedule, and manage fundraising events.

Manage call time for leadership, conduct follow-up donor correspondence, and chase pledges.

Identify, research, and pursue new donors.

Assist the Treasurer with compliance needs.

Maintain accurate financial records.

Staff leadership and other members at finance-related events.

Manage a Finance Assistant.
Required skills and qualifications:

Strong commitment to electing Democrats to state government.

Minimum one (1) cycle statewide, congressional, or legislative committee campaign finance assistant or equivalent experience.

Experience with NGP and other finance software. Experience with Warchest is a plus.

Superior interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and organizations.

Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Exemplary time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Lives in or willing to relocate to New Hampshire for the duration of the campaign cycle.

Work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Possess a car in working order for occasional travel around the state.

Possess a cell phone and laptop.

Experience in New Hampshire preferred but not required.
