New Hampshire House Democratic Caucus: Recruitment Director
The New Hampshire House Democratic Victory Campaign Committee (DVCC) is hiring a full-time Recruitment Director to manage our candidate recruitment program to regain the majority and build a strong caucus in 2026. The Recruitment Director will work closely with the legislative leadership team, the recruitment table, town and county chairs, and report directly to the Caucus Director.
Responsibilities

Leading on recruitment conversations directly with potential candidates in safe blue seats and key red-to-blue flip targets.

Working closely with caucus leadership, caucus staff, and political leaders across the state.

Executing a statewide recruitment strategy.

Guiding the time of leadership and other staff members to assist with recruitment in collaboration with the caucus director.

Tracking recruitment progress across towns and counties and produce reports for the caucus director, leadership, and partners.

Developing strong relationships with town and county chairs across the state.

Running the recruitment table including coordinating with partners.

Create a strong transition and onboarding process for candidates with the candidate services department.
Qualifications
-
Commitment to Democratic Party values and highly motivated to elect Democratic state legislative candidates.

At least two (2) cycles working directly with political candidates in recruitment, political, or organizing roles.

Superior interpersonal communication skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Adept at navigating and prioritizing in a high-volume communication environment.

Ability to exercise superb judgment and political savvy.

Exemplary time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Strong time-management skills and work ethic.

Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Possess a car in working order for occasional travel around the state.

Possess a cell phone and laptop.

Experience in New Hampshire preferred but not required.
