Digital Communications Associate - Van Hollen for Senate

The Digital Communications Associate will manage and implement the campaign’s social media and email programs. Very strong writing and organizational skills as well as proficiency across all digital platforms (X, BlueSky, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) are required. Familiarity with video equipment and production, video editing, and the Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred. Ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, collaborative workplace where they can adapt as needs and priorities change for the digital and email program. Individual will play a key role in driving both programs to ensure they reflect the Senator’s message and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and publish digital content across social media platforms.

• Work directly with the Senator and team to create video and other content for platforms.

• Serve as the principal writer for the email program while working with the finance team to help oversee the outside firm’s delivery and execution.

• Monitor social media trends and changing environment as well as analytics to help drive strategy.

• Ensure writing across email and platforms reinforces the senator’s message

• Experience with video equipment and production, video editing, and the Adobe Creative Suite is required
