Title: Deputy**** Finance Director
Location: Indiana/DC
Salary: The starting salary range for this position is $4000-$5000 per month, commensurate with experience.
Anticipated Start Date: February 1st, 2026.
Description: Congressman Frank Mrvan is seeking a hard-working and experienced fundraiser to join our team as Deputy Finance Director for the 2026 election cycle. Ideal candidates will have exceptional candidate and organizational management skills, be attentive to detail, have a positive attitude, be a team player, and be willing to adjust and manage an ever-changing environment. Successful applicants will work well under pressure, anticipate problems, propose solutions, and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
This position reports to the Finance Director and will play a critical role in supporting the fundraising operation.

Key Responsibilities:
● Work with the Finance Director to execute day-to-day finance operation, including tracking donations, managing databases, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
● Organize, plan, and execute fundraising events, including in-person and virtual fundraisers, receptions, and meet-and-greet opportunities in the state of Indiana.
● Help execute the call time program and work with the Finance Director to build call lists and staff call time as needed.
● Assist with training and managing of interns and volunteers by providing guidance, support, and fostering professional development.
● Provide additional administrative support for finance operations, including but not limited to creating call time reports, assisting with finance plan updates, tracking donor pledges, and coordinating donor acknowledgement communication.
● Assist with drafting major donor fundraising emails and communications.
● Support additional fundraising and finance activities as needed.
● Collaborate closely with the Finance Director, Campaign Manager, consultants, and candidate to set and achieve ambitious fundraising goals.
Qualifications:
● One+ cycle of campaign finance experience.
● Demonstrated success meeting fundraising goals.
● Experience in a demanding events or call time program.
● Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects without dropping deadlines.
● Experience with NGP, ActBue, and Google Drive.
● Ability to balance between competing tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
● Willingness to eventually relocate to Crown Point, Indiana.
● Willingness to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
● Ties to Indiana is a significant plus.
● Experience using CallTime.AI is a significant plus.

Congressman Frank Mrvan is a third-term Democratic incumbent and Frontliner representing Northwest Indiana, where he grew up, met his wife Jane, and raised their two daughters. A co-chair of the House Steel Caucus, he is a proven advocate for working families and domestic manufacturing. In the most recent cycle, his campaign raised more than $3 million, and in a challenging year for Democrats, Congressman Mrvan outperformed Vice President Harris by over 8 points in 2024.
