MVAR Media, a leading Democratic political media consulting firm, is hiring a ** Digital Ad Operations Manager** to join our growing digital paid media team. The Digital Ad Operations Manager Manager will be responsible for executing and overseeing the hands-on-keyboard buying of digital persuasion and mobilization ad campaigns in key battlegrounds.
An ideal applicant will have 2+ years of experience with digital ad buying across platforms and an impeccable attention to detail. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an all-hands-on-deck approach to servicing digital media clients.
We’re looking for someone who notices the smallest of UI change, can talk about PG vs PMP all day long, and gets excited about making optimizations that allow us to run the most efficient and effective campaigns possible.
This position is based in Alexandria, VA and is available through December 2026.

Responsibilities include:

Managing the set up, quality control process, and launch of flawless digital ad campaigns on the following platforms:

Meta Ads Manager
-
Google Ads
-
Programmatic DSPs (The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, etc.)

Snapchat Ads Manager
-
X/Twitter Ads
-
With the possibility of learning more!

Monitor, pace, and optimize digital ad campaigns in-flight

Coordinate with ad tech partners and inventory vendors

Maintaining processes for the execution of campaigns and adjusting accordingly as platforms or ad inventory changes.

Mentoring team on ad ops best practices

Collaborate with digital team as needed on weekly performance reports, competitive reporting, and media plans
Requirements
-
2+ years experience with digital paid media buying
-
Mastery of the digital ad platforms used for paid persuasion campaigns

Exemplary attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of where things can go wrong when setting up ad campaigns and a keen eye to catch mistakes before a campaign is set live

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and reliably

Thrive in a collaborative work environment with your fellow digital team members
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $65-75k
Benefits

We offer employees 15 days of PTO per year, plus most federal holidays and a week-long winter break. Our location is three blocks from the King Street Metro Station, and we offer employee parking at our building or metro reimbursement.
