Congressman Eugene Vindman’s congressional campaign is seeking a full-time Finance Assistant to
support Eugene’s reelection to one of the most competitive seats in the country. The Finance Assistant will
report to the Finance Director and Call Time Manager and work closely with the Congressman to ensure
the success of all aspects of the finance program.
We are a high performing, extremely hardworking, competitive team that values attention to detail,
strategic thinking, diligence and a sense of humor. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a strong
attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a ‘no task is too small attitude’.
Specific responsibilities include:
● Supporting members of the finance team to organize and manage fundraising events. This includes:
○ Recruiting host committees.
○ Coordinating scheduling, venue, and advance logistics.
○ Managing RSVPs and event trackers, ensuring all details are accurate and action items are
tracked to completion.
○ Conducting outreach to directly raise funds
● Assisting with call time preparation as needed. This may include:
○ Prospecting potential donors and conducting donor research.
○ Ensuring accuracy of call sheets for the Congressman in Pingdex.
○ Performing call time follow up as needed, including timely emails, letters, and calls.
○ Scheduling calls with prospective supporters.
○ Testing phone numbers to ensure efficiency of call time.
○ Keeping call time CRM’s organized and up to date with call time notes.
● Coordinating operational processes, including compliance and check entry.
● Assisting the Finance Director and Call Time Manager with the development of fundraising strategy,
including pitching creative fundraising ideas.
● Overseeing finance interns and general volunteers, as needed.
● Staffing fundraising events and meetings, as needed.
● Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive is preferred.
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
● Ability to interact with diverse populations.
● A valid US driver’s license, and access to reliable, insured transportation.
● Willingness to move to DC or NoVA.
