Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis with a start date in the beginning of January. This is a part-time position with the Laura Fine for Congress campaign, and is expected to conclude in March 2026, with potential to extend through the end of 2026. Digital Fellows will be paid a weekly stipend of $250 for 15 hours each week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Laura Fine for Congress is seeking talented candidates to work as digital fellows for the 2026 election cycle. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to our mission of electing Laura Fine as the next Congressperson in the 9th Congressional District of Illinois.

Role Overview:

Digital Fellows help shape the narrative of our campaign by supporting social media and content creation. Fellows will learn how to create compelling content that engages voters and amplifies Laura’s message. This will be a part time position based in the 9th District.

Responsibilities:

● Draft and edit content for social media, email, and website updates.

● Support creation of graphics, videos, and multimedia content.

● Assist with creative concepting for video and social media content.

● Travel to campaign events to support content capture and live posting.

● Draft accessible content, including captions, alt text, and platform-appropriate formatting.

● Other campaign needs as required.

Qualifications (Required)

● Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic campaign environment and a willingness to learn.

● Strong writing and media editing skills.

● Familiarity with major social media platforms.

● Experience with design and video tools and the ability to edit and perform post-production work on videos in a timely manner.

● Commitment to electing Laura Fine for Congress.

Qualifications (Preferred):

● Previous experience working with Canva and/or Adobe Creative suite is a significant plus.

● Previous experience in campaign work is a plus.

● Previous experience working in the 9th Congressional District is a significant plus but not required.
