JOB DESCRIPTION
James Martin for Congress seeks a Finance Director to lead all fundraising and finance operations through the 2026 cycle. The Director will design and execute a multi-channel plan to raise several million dollars and manage donor strategy, operations, and compliance in a fast-paced, competitive district.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan across call time, events, digital, mail, and PAC outreach.

Manage donor pipelines and stewardship, including prospecting, call-time coordination, and acknowledgments.

Oversee all finance operations: budget management, cash flow, reporting, and vendor/payment systems.

Ensure full FEC compliance and coordinate filings with the Treasurer and compliance vendors.

Lead event planning and rapid-response fundraising tied to news cycles and key campaign moments.
Ideal Experience:

Proven political fundraising or campaign finance experience, ideally including at least one cycle in a finance role.

Strong understanding of FEC regulations, compliance processes, and finance best practices.

Proficiency with NGP VAN, ActBlue, CRM systems, and Google Sheets/Excel.

Excellent donor relationship skills and strong written communication for fundraising materials.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, move quickly, and thrive in a competitive, swing-district environment.
Requirements
Car, laptop, cell phone, and willingness to work nights/weekends. This role is in-person in South Florida.
