JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Research Associate
Reports to: Research Director
Salary: $4,500 to $5,000 per month
Location: Columbus, OH
About the Role: Friends of Sherrod Brown is seeking an individual to join a growing research team as a Research Associate for who will work with the Research Department to hold Sen. Brown’s opponent accountable.
Responsibilities:

Complete various research projects including pitches, issue-based research, and rapid response as needed.

Complete various vetting and due diligence projects.

Assist with A/V research as needed.

Assist with compiling and maintaining records of ads, polling, clips and other materials relevant to the Ohio Senate race.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong research and written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with public records tools and political research tools a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Prior campaign or research experience strongly preferred.
Logistics:
Level: Associate
Salary Band: $4,500 to $5,000
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision plan at no premium upon meeting plan eligibility requirements.
Leave: Paid time off will be available per Campaign policy.
Hours: Full-time position. This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
