Eric Chung for Michigan (MI-10) is seeking a full-time Finance Director. This position will lead the campaign’s fundraising strategy and execution, working on one of the most competitive and record-breaking campaigns to flip a toss-up Congressional seat — one of two open swing seats in the nation — that will determine control of the House of Representatives in 2026. The campaign has raised over $1.125 million since launch, the most of any Democratic candidate ahead of the primary in the history of the district, and was #1 in the nation in its launch quarter for a first-time candidate running for a competitive seat and #1 for a POC or AAPI or LGBTQ+ challenger candidate. The Finance Director will report to the Campaign Manager. The position is full-time, based in Michigan, and may require travel. The ideal start date is in mid-January.
Skills, Abilities, and Experiences
At least 1-2 cycles in federal campaign fundraising and experience as a Deputy Finance Director or a Finance Assistant is strongly encouraged.
Proficiency with NGP, ActBlue, and Google Suite, and familiarity with other fundraising platforms, including CallTime AI and Grassroots Analytics, is preferred.
Strong work ethic, drive to hit and surpass goals, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that may require availability beyond regular business hours, including on weekends.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Deep commitment to the mission of flipping MI-10 and the House of Representatives and enthusiasm about engaging in the community and with voters.
Valid driver’s license, reliable access to a personal vehicle, internet, and a cell phone.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and execute a cycle-long fundraising and finance plan in coordination with the Campaign Manager and Candidate.
Oversee the finance team, including Call Time Manager, interns, and volunteers.
Drive donor strategy: identify, research, and cultivate new donors and expand existing donor networks.
Work with Call Time Manager to execute an effective and efficient Call Time Program, including list preparation, follow-up, and staffing.
Plan and manage fundraising events in-state and nationally, including developing relationships with hosts, ensuring event goals are met, staffing the Candidate, and managing all event logistics.
Collaborate with the Campaign Manager on digital fundraising strategy and compliance.
Other duties as assigned by the Campaign Manager and Candidate.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $6,000 - $8,000, commensurate with experience.
How to Apply: Applicants should submit a resume to [email protected] and [email protected] with the subject line “Finance Director Application." References may be required.
