The Mission

Mark Kelly for Senate is the campaign organization for Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona. Re-elected to a six-year term in 2022 after a ground-breaking win in the 2020 special election, Senator Kelly is a proven leader in the Senate and an independent voice for Arizonans. Mark Kelly for Senate is continuing to build its team by hiring a full-time National Events Manager to manage the campaign’s finance event operations.

The Opportunity

Our National Events Manager will support and expand our record-breaking national events program. They will work closely with the Finance Director, consultants, and key members of the leadership team to continue the expansion of the off-cycle events program.

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, self-starters with an interest in Democratic fundraising, have a strong work ethic and a willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities, and be able to multitask and work in fast-paced environments.

Duties

• Work in coordination with the Finance Director, consultants, and finance team to plan successful national travel swings.

• Manage events from start to finish, including host cultivation/management, event material development, and event build/outreach.

• Build and grow a robust national prospecting program.

• Own internal tracking and controls for the national events program, including host commitments, pledges, RSVPs, and staff calls.

• Support the campaign's major donor stewardship program through outreach and donor communication.

• Staff national travel events and meetings.

• Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Required

• At least one cycle of campaign finance experience on either a federal or statewide race.

• Previous experience working within an events program.

• Experience working with a principal and preparing principal materials.

• Proficiency in NGP and advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
