JOB DESCRIPTION

The Maura Healey Committee is seeking a full-time ** Partnerships Manager** to continue expanding Governor Healey’s digital reach and strengthening our relationships across online communities. This person will oversee our digital engagement strategy, manage our network of digital creators and communities, and help ensure the Governor’s message reaches audiences across every corner of the internet. This is a strategic and highly collaborative role for an internet-savvy, social media-loving candidate who understands online ecosystems, builds relationships with ease, and thrives in fast-paced political environments.

Overview:

The Partnerships Manager is a mid-level role on the Digital Team. The position reports directly to the Digital Director and works closely with the digital team, consultants, and senior campaign leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the campaign’s online engagement strategy across platforms, forums, and digital communities.

  • Manage, grow, and maintain relationships with our network of online supporters, aligned organizations, creators, and influencers.

  • Work alongside the Digital Director to identify, recruit, and onboard new digital partners aligned with the campaign’s priorities.

  • Track online trends, conversations, and emerging opportunities to elevate the Governor’s message.

  • Develop digital toolkits, message guidance, and content resources for partners and supporters.

  • Coordinate cross-promotion campaigns and collaborative content opportunities with external partners.

  • Support the Digital Director in building a sustainable long-term digital partnership infrastructure.

  • Work closely with the communications and digital teams to amplify key announcements, initiatives, and calls to action.

  • Assist in shaping the Governor’s digital presence across new and emerging platforms.

  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to optimize reach and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital content, digital organizing, partnerships, influencer marketing, online community management, or related fields (campaign experience preferred, but not required).

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of digital platforms, internet culture, and online organizing.

  • Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Creative problem-solver with strong writing instincts and political judgment.

  • Willingness to be a team player and support colleagues and the campaign at large.

The salary band for this position is $6,000 - $6,500 per month, commensurate with experience. The campaign offers full health care benefits.
