Job Title: Campaign Manager

Location: Michigan, Statewide

Duration: January 20 2026 - April 30, 2026 (with the possibility of extension)

Compensation: $5,000-$6,000/month

Reports To: Co-Founder & Partner

Position Summary

TouchStone is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven ** Campaign Manager** to oversee day-to-day operations of a ballot access campaign in Michigan. This temporary, full-time position will lead on-the-ground execution of our signature gathering strategy, collect signatures themselves, and manage a team of canvassers and support staff, and ensure programmatic goals are met with efficiency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and daily management of canvassing staff

  • Lead daily briefing and debriefing of field teams and troubleshoot field challenges

  • Track canvasser performance, manage turf assignments, and ensure data quality

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on campaign strategy, reporting, and progress

  • Ensure adherence to all legal and safety protocols

  • Implement accountability systems to support productivity and morale

  • Coordinate and serve as the point of contact for the candidate

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be based in Michigan

  • 3+ years of campaign, field, or organizing experience (supervisory experience strongly preferred)

  • Excellent project management and leadership skills

  • High level of comfort with voter contact software, data entry, and reporting tools (NGP-VAN, PDI, TouchStone)

  • Experience managing diverse teams in high-paced environments

  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to program changes

Additional Details

  • Schedule: Must be available for irregular campaign hours, including evenings and weekends

  • Housing/Travel Support: Temporary relocation support may be discussed

  • Temporary Position: This is a full-time, temporary contract role
