JOB DESCRIPTION
Friends of Sherrod Brown is looking for a ** Deputy Digital Fundraising Director** for the 2026 election cycle. This is an opportunity to join a top tier Senate race and be on the front lines of the fight to elect a true fighter for workers who is taking on a rigged system.
This is a full-time, paid position based in Columbus, Ohio. This person will help oversee one of the highest-raising digital fundraising campaigns in the midterm elections and will collaborate closely with the Digital Fundraising Director and consultants. A successful candidate will have a strong foundation in online fundraising strategy and a knack for creativity. This person is a team player, and is ready and willing to collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities include:

Working with the Digital Fundraising Director and vendors to execute the campaign’s online fundraising strategy, including tracking analytics and making recommendations to hit projections

Managing SMS and P2P mobile campaigns; writing and editing other email, ad, and social fundraising content as needed

Tracking and analyzing metrics to make data-driven decisions based on results

Thinking innovatively and strategically to maximize online fundraising opportunities, especially during rapid response moments

Facilitating fundraising content approvals between the digital firm and the campaign

Managing tandem partner outreach, including compiling copy for partners and tracking performance
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience managing online fundraising platforms

Campaign experience is not required, but strongly preferred

Strong writing skills, with the ability to write in multiple voices

Proficiency with ActBlue and CRMs like ActionKit or NGP, and SMS platforms like Tatango or Switchboard

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines

Willingness to work long campaign hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
