JOB DESCRIPTION: FINANCE DIRECTOR
Dr. Mariah Lancaster for Congress is seeking**** a** Campaign Manager** to lead the campaign’s fundraising program for the 2026 election cycle. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills. This position is based in the Salem, MA area, and this staffer will be expected to regularly staff the principal in-person and virtually.
Responsibilities

Develop and oversee a campaign finance plan, tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

Manage and train finance staff, interns, and consultants.

Grow the campaign’s fundraising network through a variety of fundraising tools and leveraging the candidate’s relationships.

Manage the fundraising events calendar and work with the team to coordinate the candidate’s finance schedule.

Staff fundraising events and meetings as needed.

Oversee the digital fundraising consultants and operate a parallel high dollar digital fundraising program.

Other duties as assigned, such as rolodexing the candidate and staffing call time.
Qualifications

At least one cycle of experience in political campaign fundraising, including experience drafting a finance plan.

Self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Willingness to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced campaign environment.

Demonstrated experience managing staff and candidates.

Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, Google Spreadsheets, NGP, ActBlue, and call time software.
Compensation
-
Salary starts at $6,000-7,000 per month and is commensurate with experience.

Health insurance stipend up to $400, if needed.
